Many of the Republicans who were initially repulsed by Trump have done a complete 180 on their views and will now be proudly voting for him in 2020. Apparently, impeachment proceedings led by the democrats were a large factor as to what caused them to change their minds. Anyhow, I just thought this article was interesting, as we talk a lot about impeachment proceedings in class but haven't really covered how they may affect Trump's base especially among different subsets of the Republican party.
