Another Blow for Newspapers
Tribune Company may be on the brink of bankruptcy.
CNN has taken steps to create a wire service capable of challenging the AP and now the Tribune may falter. It appears the media will only continue to consolidate.

I wonder if "the news" delivers a public benefit and if it deserves subsidy if the model's not profitable.
