John McCain Answers Question of Constituent
We've talked a lot about the different sides of John McCain. This is my personal John McCain.
I honestly had no idea what or whom she was referring to at first. You must think it was said in context... I'd be interested to see what the rest of this tape looked like.
I think it’s pretty disgusting that John McCain would laugh about someone calling a fellow senator a bitch. I don’t care if McCain and Clinton are in different parties or if they are running against each other for president. The word “bitch” is a derogatory word used against women, and is highly offensive. The fact that McCain did not even try to say that he does not condone that kind of offensive speech towards a coworker, but instead chose to LAUGH demonstrates my LEAST favorite side of John McCain. This is not a partisan issue. I believe that those who work on Capitol Hill should at least try to get beyond all the stupid bullshit and not sink to the level of 10 year olds who solve their problems with name calling. No woman should ever be called a bitch, and no fellow Senator should laugh at the offensive name-calling of a coworker. End of story. There is a reason that McCain’s campaign is upset about the release of this video… it paints McCain in a terrible light. This is simply not appropriate behavior from someone who claims to be fit to be president. “That is an excellent question.” – McCain. Really? It is excellent to call females bitches? WHO KNEW?
